As the root of the nation's grief
Appears in your home
Bewilderment sets in.
Why?
As the future dies
Before our eyes
Unknown beauty
Has been lost
The blood of
What would come to be
God knows what
Has been spilled upon this
Field of unearthly disgrace.
What has this world
Transformed into
When the living are expecting to die?
Say goodbye
Don't look again
All that waits is
Pain and misery
In these months or years to come.
Not a soul knows when this
Apocalyptic Hell
Will end.
Fighting For Peace.
We have been reduced to these
Oxymoronic dissensions
That have been declared by
The inconversant tyrant.
A new generation of
Fathers and mothers burying
Sons and daughters.
Lied to and persuaded by those
Responsible for protecting our principles.
We have been manipulated into thinking
We must follow the standard
Set by these self-proclaimed
"Leaders" of this
Oppressive democracy.
