A Future Funeral
How to explain
this sensation that
empowers two people
would be quite
Impossible.
Like an intricate
dance entangling a
mess of emotion that
to describe would be
Hopeless.
Embracing the weight of
your victims body
pressing against your own.
A feeling that is
Inconcceivable.
As both turn red
body and hand alike
one feels the pressure
while the other must say
Goodnight.
They do not want to leave
all of this beauty that we call life
but the hour has arrived
and yet, it almosts seems
Unimaginable.
Not a muscle twitching,
only a motionless body that
stares back, yet does not see
the one who has sinned,
The one who was defeated
all that was beautiful
in this being.
All that was joyous
in this creature
who is now just
A Future Funeral.
When he wakes up dead,
will it be a good mourning?
No one is safe in this never-ending
Age of Hatred.
Escape desired by all
But achieved by
None.
When will we stop
Fighting For Peace?
When will we learn to distrust those who
Kill us?
Children taught to
Hate
And parents must learn to explain.
War is not a prerequisite,
It is a choice that has
been blurred into
Necessity.
